Drain Jetting

Drain jetting (or High Pressure Water Jetting) is a highly effective way of clearing drains.

Drain Jetting Services

Drain jetting is the process of firing high pressure water down your drains and pipes to clear blockages. Drain rods are good at clearing blockages close to the entrance, but a drain jetting hose can extend much farther down the pipe, negotiate bends and exert significantly higher amounts of force on the toughest of blockages.

At Maintain Drains, all of our engineers are fully trained and understand the importance of respecting your home and your property. If you think you might need drain jetting then give us a call and we can advise if drain jetting is the best solution or if we can offer something more appropriate. With our professional drain jetting you have the peace of mind that your drains will be unclogged, unblocked and fully functional that same day.

What is drain jetting?

Drain jetting (or High Pressure Water Jetting) is a highly effective way of clearing drains. Water is stored in tanks and run through a high pressure hose with a jetting nozzle. The use of chemicals can be potentially hazardous and is often not able to clear the drain blockage. Drain jetting hoses can extend much farther down the pipe, negotiate bends and apply far more force on the toughest of blockages.

Will drain jetting work?

The great thing about drain jetting is that it’s compatible with most kinds of drains and most kinds of blockages. It can remove a tree root and blockages caused by waste, fat, scale or grease. At Maintain Drains most all of our engineers carry drain jetting equipment on them and thus it’s quick and easy to get going.

How safe is drain jetting?

All our engineers are fully trained and understand the importance of respecting your home and your property. They will set up a safety zone and adhere to strict guidelines when operating the water jetter.

It’s important to realise that drain getting causes large amounts of debris and detritus to be ejected from the drain outlet or manhole, possibly leading to serious contamination or injury if not properly contained. However, Maintain Drains are fully trained to manage this and prevent any injury or contamination.

review rating 5  Spoke to Jon at Maintain prior to our house purchase as a house surveyor's report does not give sufficient information. Could not fault the service. Video's of all the drains. a map of their location and description of condition which is incredibly useful for future plans. He arranged everything which was appreciated as we are (were) not local and the report was with us the next day. Like the electrician who inspected the electrical installation; both worth every penny of their fees prior to a house purchase.
